Alba di Ruda, Vermentino di Gallura D.O.C.G.
Alba di Ruda, Vermentino di Gallura D.O.C.G., is produced from a vineyard at Cala Sarraina, where the vines are trained on espaliers using the Guyot method and consist of 100% Vermentino di Gallura.
Following careful selection in the vineyard and in the cellar, the grapes undergo gentle pressing at a controlled temperature. Static settling and fermentation with selected yeasts take place in stainless steel tanks, followed by further ageing in the bottle. The wine draws its aromas from the nearby sea, which cradles it with its sea breeze, imparting iodine-like notes and evoking a bouquet of white flowers and white-fleshed fruit on the nose..
Ideal for accompanying Mediterranean specialities, it pairs perfectly with land and sea starters, cured meats and cheeses, fish-based first courses, fish main courses, and can also be served with roasted white meats.
